Please note on the schedule that the January and February programs have switched places. "Taymouth Fair" will be held on January 16th and United States Currency will be on February 20th. If you know of an interesting program and presenter, please let us know. We're always looking for new programs.

The Saginaw Valley Antique Society is celebrating its 27th year of programs with the 2017-2018 season. March 17, 2018 will be our 27th Annual Antique Show. We're excited about a great list of new programs, starting on September 19, 2017, with Books and Publishers, Presented by Terry Stevens. Terry's passion for collecting books is rivaled only by his interest in Boy Scout memorabilia. Of course, books on that subject top his list. Hardcover books published from the 1920s through the 1960s are his main focus.
Meetings are free and open to the public. When you decide to join, dues are only $10 a person or $15 for a couple. Our next program is The Jewel Box Book, by Joanne V. Wiertella, on March 20, 2018. With a collection of more than 500 jewel boxes, Joanne authored a beautifully illustrated book. She will share her findings on these jewelry caskets, as they were called, telling about their history, the manufacturers, compositions, linings and various decorative styles. She will show many lovely jewel boxes from her vast collection. Please join us. I promise you will not be disappointed.
